See, if I could get four hours with Stanford's linear particle accelerator, this hypothesis would be so proven and I'd be able to put a little plaque saying "Discovered cold fusion AND fission in the same day".

Of course, I can't replicate it, but hey, you can't always get what you want.

EDIT: Oh my god I am a genius! Mr. Summers! Can I get an hour or so to cash in that favor you owe me for the eye thing?

For the safety of the northern hemisphere, I vote we never let you near anything with greater nuclear potential than the average washing machine. Which I'm sure you'd up after five minutes and the contents of a small portable television, but at least no one will be able to say we didn't make every effort.

What brought this unsettling desire up, then?

In doing some experiments with Tommy's powers, I think I've figured out how he, Paige, and to a lesser extent Mr. Rasputin perform their little acts of physics-breaking.

And I work with potentially destructive things all the time. Have you SEEN Paige before her morning tea?

Ah, enlighten us then? I can get a basic grasp of what they do just by looking, but the actual understanding. Dodgy bit about having an intuitive power.

And yes, I've seen Paige in the mornings. It is indeed an awesome sight, in every conceivable sense of the word.

If you feel yourself unable to convey the scope and glory that is your lab partner in this forum, that is not my fault. I do conceed, however, that the limits of the medium can only render any explanation insufficient.

I think this is the only time you'll ever hear me say this, so cherish it.

You'd better be talking about the fact that I tend to only wear a t-shirt and underwear to bed (and then forget I'm not wearing pants), mister...

Take it as a certainty that I am talking about whichever answer will not result in having me beaten about the head and shoulders. Although this happens often, to the point I'm beginning to develop an immunity. Instinctive reactive adaptivity and that.

Use the training simulators to mock up a subatomic collision using data I gathered in the lab. They've got the speed and computing power for it - wouldn't even have to leave the control console.
