See, if I could get four hours with Stanford's linear particle accelerator, this hypothesis would be so proven and I'd be able to put a little plaque saying "Discovered cold fusion AND fission in the same day".

Of course, I can't replicate it, but hey, you can't always get what you want.

Use the training simulators to mock up a subatomic collision using data I gathered in the lab. They've got the speed and computing power for it - wouldn't even have to leave the control console.
