x_maker: (Working on the hand)

Ow.

A day full of being poked, scanned, and prodded in a number of uncomfortable and quite possibly vindictive tests. What am I going to be thankful for tomorrow? NOT being Dr. Voght's latest excuse for a dartboard. Seriously, someone buy the lady one so she has a healthy outlet for her obsession with needling people...

Why, did you get an STD from Marius too? (S for SKIN, you fiends.)

[identity profile] x-siryn.livejournal.com 2006-11-23 05:04 am (UTC)(link)
Just saying, seems to be going around.

Hey, you got diseased, I got permanent scarring. Mon trésor is a special boy.

[identity profile] x-wildchild.livejournal.com 2006-11-23 05:18 am (UTC)(link)
Hey, if we're being like, pedantic and crap, I gave you the scars from pulling his crazy butt off you.

[identity profile] x-roulette.livejournal.com 2006-11-23 05:21 am (UTC)(link)
Yes Kyle, you are special too. And I have a reminder which I will carry for the rest of my life.

[identity profile] x-wildchild.livejournal.com 2006-11-23 05:24 am (UTC)(link)
I'm just sayin, if we're blaming guys, blame the right ones. I know if I was Marius, I wouldn't want to be blamed for scars I didn't cause.

[identity profile] x-roulette.livejournal.com 2006-11-23 05:33 am (UTC)(link)
You know, this is an argument I didn't think I would ever be having.

"I gave you those scars!"

"No, I did."

A girl likes to feel like guys are fighting over her, but this is slightly ridiculous.

[identity profile] x-emplate.livejournal.com 2006-11-23 05:24 am (UTC)(link)
And what alternative, pray tell, did I have? You refused a ring.

Silence. You saw those test results as well as I.

[identity profile] x-roulette.livejournal.com 2006-11-23 05:36 am (UTC)(link)
Oh hush, you have brain damage. And yet, my love for you is not diminished in the slightest. Which is fortunate since I am running out of heavy objects to drop on you anyway.

[identity profile] x-forge.livejournal.com 2006-11-23 05:38 am (UTC)(link)
If you need more heavy object, just give the word. I am always willing to assist with a worthy cause.

[identity profile] x-forge.livejournal.com 2006-11-23 05:31 am (UTC)(link)
Ever played that kids' game Operation? Well, way back in the Spring Break of Utter Pain, Marius apparently decided to make more than just cosmetic adjustments when returning me to normal and fix some old injuries.

I'd be a lot more grateful if he'd known what the heck he was doing. Not to say that I'm not grateful, it's just an amusingly fortunate accident.

[identity profile] x-siryn.livejournal.com 2006-11-23 05:41 am (UTC)(link)
I wasn't here for all that, I'm afraid. Kidnapped by my fugitive uncle and all.

[identity profile] x-forge.livejournal.com 2006-11-23 05:44 am (UTC)(link)
Short version: deformed psycho flesh-manipulator turned a lot of people into twisted montrosities, nailing me and Kyle and Jay and Doug and Ms. Munroe in the process. X-Men did their stuff, brought the guy back, Marius used his powers to be a hero and set stuff right, and the badguy went to prison.

[identity profile] x-siryn.livejournal.com 2006-11-23 05:49 am (UTC)(link)
Aye, I read the file. I just wasn't here at the time.

[identity profile] x-forge.livejournal.com 2006-11-23 05:51 am (UTC)(link)
See? People miss all the cool stuff when they get abducted to Europe.

[identity profile] x-roulette.livejournal.com 2006-11-23 05:53 am (UTC)(link)
Do we ever have a season where NOTHING insane happens? I'm thinking winter. Winter was reasonably sane last year.

[identity profile] x-siryn.livejournal.com 2006-11-23 05:54 am (UTC)(link)
Ireland. We never left the country. Nevertheless, I'm sure it was a smashing good time and I'm sorry to have missed it.

[identity profile] x-roulette.livejournal.com 2006-11-23 06:01 am (UTC)(link)
I think he's being passive agressive again

[identity profile] x-siryn.livejournal.com 2006-11-23 06:04 am (UTC)(link)
Aye, I'm sure that he'd like to have his pain acknowledged as worse than my own but I'm not sure that I agree.

[identity profile] x-forge.livejournal.com 2006-11-23 06:04 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, far from it. I can't imagine how the last few days have totally sucked for you. You and Bobby both.

[identity profile] x-siryn.livejournal.com 2006-11-23 06:08 am (UTC)(link)
It could have been worse. No one was permanently hurt.

[identity profile] x-forge.livejournal.com 2006-11-23 06:10 am (UTC)(link)
True. I think both you and the husband have filled the required medical visit quota for the rest of the year.

[identity profile] x-siryn.livejournal.com 2006-11-23 06:12 am (UTC)(link)
Aye, clean bills of healthy for the both of us.

Which means that if I don't make it home after tomorrow, it was his mother poisoning me so that her son will be rid of me.

[identity profile] x-emplate.livejournal.com 2006-11-23 05:54 am (UTC)(link)
I knew exactly what I was doing. Or rather, a former supermodel was working to ensure none of those I exercised my charity upon ended up with any more limbs than that which they were meant to have. Perhaps the borrowed powers did not come with an instruction manual, as our lovely RA's acquisitions do, but I did manage to cheat the lack with the psychic equivalent of an internet walkthrough. My manipulations were in no way unsafe. Merely creepy.

A few special cases did require some consultation with the keen medical minds of the appropriate staff, but apparently Masque's powers are naturally inclined towards repair. It is unfortunate the natural bearer of these powers is nothing short of an unbearable twat. (Who I possibly continue to carry some small grudge against after the caving in of my face. Does it show?)

[identity profile] x-forge.livejournal.com 2006-11-23 05:59 am (UTC)(link)
Would you believe he still holds a grudge about the arm thing?
