So, what's the over/under on a news report of a giant plasma explosion taking out half of Hawaii?

I swear, we need a class on Cope Failure here. With a big motto of "Life sucks, wear a helmet". Because a lot of people just aren't getting the point. Yes, your life is going to be difficult because you're a mutant. Guess what? There's no natural scientific law saying life's got to be fair or easy. Yes, people are going to let you down. Guess what? You'd better get used to it because it's not going to stop happening.

So you might not have the easy slacker laid-back peaceful life you mistakenly think you deserve. I suppose it's the trend now to let that blind you to the good things you do have.

I for one am not going to follow that particular trend. After classes today, I'll be taking on all comers for the title of Grand Foosball Champion in the second floor lounge room. Whiners, mopers, and cranky folks with delusions of persecution need not apply.

And you know what? It was because you screwed up, you came to terms with it, you got over it. The one thing you didn't do was try and blame it on everyone else.

Yeah, I know how easy it is to do the whole "Wah wah life isn't going the way I want it to so I'm going to be all angry and probably do something stupid" thing, because I did it. And we all know where THAT lack of judgement and maturity got me.

People just need to quit being stupid.

I have not a clue what happened, in all honesty, but come on. Are we really going to get into one of those 'I have the right to feel my emotions!!' debates? It's just not the same without Manuel calling us all plebians.

Indeed, this almost screams for Manuel to come in, tell us we're all being hypocrites and that he's going out clubbing just to spite us all. And if it weren't Manuel, I'd almost miss it.
