100% completion, six hours ahead of schedule! All tests are green, fabrication is done, and everything's packed and ready to go. Now to prepare for losing twelve pounds the hard way.
From what I'm told - "Don't eat anything eight hours prior to surgery, no caffeine 24 hours before surgery." Which would be in three hours, so I'm tanking up now.
Saturday afternoon, assuming they let my dad sign me out. Dr. Grey and Dr. McCoy already have all the information they need to oversee recovery, but I think I should be able to rest in my room after they give me the once-over.
Once I'm back - I welcome all visits and folks bearing gifts. I think being temporarily invalid and likely loopy from anaesthesia should also be a protection from people smacking me upside the head for being stupid.
