1) When using a camera to guide you around the house, remember stereo vision (and ensuing depth perception) requires TWO independent lenses. Binocular vision is overrated until you try and get around without it.

2) When closed, eyes tend to shake a whole lot. Definitely check out reason behind that.

3) Need to develop proximity alert system for airborne felines. V. important.

I figured you would. You didn't come out with any bad bumps or bruises from that fall, did you? I know cats always land on their feet, but I think we kind of landed on my head there.

My head is fine, I've taken worse falls. My back, I hope, will eventually get back into shape, but that's more the fault of Las Vegas than anything else.

Catseye does not think Las Vegas is a good place. It is far away!

Las Vegas is far away, yes. Very dry, and while it's not boring, it gets old very, very quickly.

What would ShinyBitsBoy call it then? Catseye is confused, but does remember that humans tend to not land on their feet. This is sad.

Then ShinyBitsBoy should not go there again and stay here. Ha!

Remind me to introduce you to the concept of a "subject change" sometime.

And remember that I don't exactly have two feet to land on. Silly cat.

Catseye likes the saying "there is no time like the present" a lot. Because humans say "sometime" and then they forget.

Catseye is not silly! Feet are feet! But Catseye has to agree that four paws are much better.

Hmm. There's these nifty chair things in the mall in town that do really good massages. Might help your back.

You too, huh? The last part, I mean. While the rest is very intriguing, I'm more nodding in interest with vague understanding.

That girl is a little bit of a hellion. Good thing she's so dang cute.

I've never been much of a cat person before, but I do have to kind of concede your point there.

Aww... chickpea. You're all gooey center and whatnot.

But I have to admit, she is much better than our barn cats. The purple helps.

The purple is weird, because if I'm reading these genetics papers right that Doctor McCoy's dumping on me - it's not a naturally occurring allele, even through mutation usually. But then again, as he keeps reminding me, the "rules" of mutation keep changing by the week.

Then again, I probably don't need to remind YOU of that, what with your family and complete disregard for consistent mutation.

Yeah, we're rude like that, not following logic that I can graph out and make big files out of. We do all have an immunity to injury of some kind, though.

That's our family in a nutshell, really.

And really? Catseye is a cat. It's in her nature to do things exactly however she pleases and usually as difficult as possible.

On the plus side, if I ever need anybody pounced, I know who to feed the large amounts of pastrami to. :)

But I don't think I need anybody pounced right now. And while normally this wouldn't stop me, Doug went and got himself sunburned because he is a dork.

Tell you what, though--you met Artie yet? I bet he could use a good pouncing. And then I think I can see my way clear to sliding a plate of pastrami your way. Possibly with salmon garnish.

Catseye is hungry now. Very hungry.

Catseye knows who PictureBoy is and could go purr at him, yes. Food would help with this. It is very hard for Catseye to purr when she is hungry.

We'd better do something about that, then. A cat with no purr is a tragedy.

Oh look, what's that? Why, strangely enough, it's the leftover salmon from the salmon chicken sandwich I just had. Isn't it funny how the pastrami just walked right over and sat down next to it on the plate? Who knows what would happen if somebody were to stop by the kitchen.

Catseye thinks ManyBodiesBoy is awfully clever.

Pastrami and Salmon together are good, but Catseye feels a bit woozy now. Ooo. Catseye thinks maybe the tuna as well was too much. Mrp.

Be nice to the dork with sunburned feet, he had a very hard week not so long ago. :)

Besides, he is cute and only his -feet- are burnt. The rest are actually a little tan. Which looks very silly with the extra-blond hair, but I did not say that if anyone asks.

Aw, look. I have my own private assassin by pouncing kitty if by private you mean anyone who will feed her lunch meat.
