Okay, so I chickened out on the big giant luge run - turning myself into a mutant torpedo isn't my idea of a sane afternoon. I'll leave that to Mr. Guthrie the Elder and Mr. al-Rashid. However, sledding is much safer and just as fun. Even if certain purple-haired friends decide to do an experiment in shifting mass while taking the sled around a turn. I swear, when I saw that big clump of snow with just a purple tail sticking out of it, I about died laughing.

When's it supposed to be warm again? Can we put that off for a while?

Oh, man, everybody needs to try the luge at least once, though, that is a rush.

Hey, did anybody happen to grab anything to clock how fast we were going? I was thinking about it when I started my run, but then I kinda spaced on it what with the adrenaline high.

I had a radar gun.

We're tossing out Mr. Guthrie's high speed, because he thought it'd be a bright idea to light off that blast field of his in the middle of the run.

Good thing we had more than one sled.

Sleds are for the weak. Although watching Cats pretend she'd meant to faceplant in a snowpile was more than worth it. And I'm rather impressed that Jay managed to get (and stay) airborn with the entire sled. Good to see those muscles aren't just for show.

As for warm, don't look at me. As far as I'm concerned, it's already the wrong season. This hemisphere is completely bollocksed.
