Lest it be said otherwise...

I have learned my lesson. Do not taunt the cat and assume she's afraid of water. Apparently eight hundred or so pounds of cat does rather well in the indoor pool. One hundred fifteen pounds of Forge, however, decidedly less so.

On the bright side, my waterproofing works just fine. And if I swim sidestroke, I can actually get around in the pool reasonably easy. When a playful predatory cat isn't having fun using me as a beach ball. I think I have water behind my eyeballs.

Exactly. But it's not made for swimming, specifically. Humans tend to wear clothes specifically for that purpose, as well as others. Remember how everyone dressed up differently for the dance? Kind of like that. Different clothes have different purposes.

Mrr? But it covered Catseye up just fine...

Pff. Catseye understands - but Catseye still thinks people are weird.

Yes, we're weird. Now get your tail and the rest of you down to the kitchen. Lorna's making cookies.

Mrrr. Catseye cannot eat too many cookies though.

(Will there be only cookies?)

Well, there's those little weird crackers, but I think those are for Kitty. And there's pork chops left over from dinner if you're feeling all carnivore-y after all that shifting.

Ooooooooooooooooooooooo!

Catseye is going now! ShinyBitsBoy had better hurry up!

Not just for Kitty, if either of you want to try them.
