Because my roommate insists upon it...

Ten things I have learned in the past six months:

1: My dad's not a complete jerk. Might not seem like a big thing, but it was a rather large surprise to me.
2: Even if two people don't get along, you can still be good friends with both of them despite their disagreements.
3: Girls just plain don't make any sense. Pregnant girls, cat girls, subdermal metamorph chemistry girls, mystic punk witch girls - not a one of them.
4: The laws of physics are being rewritten every day. This just in - Unified Field Theory is a crock, in case anyone wanted to know.
5: Dancing is easier than it looks, although I still feel goofy DOING it.
6: Big blue doctors may be able to dunk from the free-throw line, but they can't shoot three-pointers. Mr. Marko could build a new wing onto the mansion with all the bricks Dr. McCoy throws up.
7: Newer may not always mean better, but when 'tradition' holds a people back, it's time to set it aside.
8: How you dress doesn't affect who you are, but it can affect how people perceive you, and I'm told that can be important.
9: Sometimes a blender is most efficient just being a blender.
10: Science can't solve everything.

8. Perception is not important to the people who you hold important and who value you. It is, however, important to the tens of dozens of people who you do not hold important, who do not care about who you are, and who we all need to get things done.
8a. No light grey pants, please. They make you look green, and green only looks good on Miles and Lorna.

8a. Lucky that since neither Miles nor I have a choice in the matter.
