Dr. McCoy!

The package from Dr. Wallace arrived this morning. Can I open it yet? Do we need to get it down to the lab first? Or would the shop be more appropriate?

Shiny things?

[identity profile] x-forge.livejournal.com 2005-01-25 06:51 am (UTC)(link)
I don't know, it's addressed to Dr. McCoy so I'm not about to open it and he's not telling me what it IS!

ShinyBitsBoy is hovering over the package!

[identity profile] x-forge.livejournal.com 2005-01-25 07:05 am (UTC)(link)
Because chances are it's something so awesome even I'll be floored. Dr. Wallace is only the most brilliant mind in the field of robotics since like, ever.

...

Catseye wants to see now.

[identity profile] x-forge.livejournal.com 2005-01-25 07:29 am (UTC)(link)
You and me both!

[identity profile] x-catseye.livejournal.com 2005-01-25 07:33 am (UTC)(link)
Catseye thinks the wrapping on the package is very very fragile...

[identity profile] x-forge.livejournal.com 2005-01-25 07:48 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, but it is not mine nor yours to open. Be a good kitty and don't play with it. Or Doctor McCoy will probably toss you in the bathtub.

FurryBlue would never do that, because FurryBlue understands how annoying wet fur can be. Ha!

Pretty paper sounds...

You behave, or I'll bring down the super soaker. And it's been sitting in the FRIDGE.

[identity profile] x-catseye.livejournal.com 2005-01-25 07:57 am (UTC)(link)
...

ShinyBitsBoy would not dare!

[identity profile] x-forge.livejournal.com 2005-01-25 07:58 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, you just wait...

[identity profile] x-beast.livejournal.com 2005-01-25 02:11 pm (UTC)(link)
Go ahead and open it, Forge... that should be the remote, and the instructions, as promised. And if you look outside in a few minutes, you should see the truck backing up with the rest of it.

Catseye, before you have a heart attack, that is NOT for eating. It's a machine, like Forge's shiny bits. It wouldn't taste good.

[identity profile] x-forge.livejournal.com 2005-01-25 02:12 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh my. Oh my indeed.

I will be rightdown.

[identity profile] x-beast.livejournal.com 2005-01-25 02:14 pm (UTC)(link)
The things a genius with time on his hands will do to get fresh sushi, hm? *g*

[identity profile] x-catseye.livejournal.com 2005-01-25 02:16 pm (UTC)(link)
Catseye wants to see mooooore! Catseye is curious now!

[identity profile] x-forge.livejournal.com 2005-01-25 02:16 pm (UTC)(link)
Big robot squid thing!

[identity profile] x-catseye.livejournal.com 2005-01-25 02:18 pm (UTC)(link)
Squids are good!!!

[identity profile] x-beast.livejournal.com 2005-01-25 02:20 pm (UTC)(link)
But this is not a squid for eating! This is a squid for going out and catching live squid. And fish, too. The man who built it likes fish as much as you do, Catseye.

[identity profile] x-catseye.livejournal.com 2005-01-25 02:23 pm (UTC)(link)
OoooOOOoooh!

Will the BigRobotSquidThing get thrown in the lake for testing then!?

[identity profile] x-beast.livejournal.com 2005-01-25 02:35 pm (UTC)(link)
Hm. Actually, that is an idea.... I will check with Dr. Wallace to see. It was designed for seawater, not fresh water, but it should work all right...

[identity profile] x-catseye.livejournal.com 2005-01-25 02:36 pm (UTC)(link)
Fish? Fresh fish?!

:D

Catseye is coming down RIGHT NOW!

The BigRobotSquidThing had better wait!
