My parents are actually in town, and have called to let me know they're kidnapping me out to the Rockefeller Center for Christmas Eve. Unexpected, but better than fruitcake and dry turkey at Grandma's.

Merry Christmas to everyone, then. I'll be back in time for the morning gift-giving and all that.

Black tie. I'm not even sure I OWN a black tie...
