Have you ever had to associate with someone rather loathsome in order to accomplish a greater good? It's like... okay, to use an analogy: You come across a car crash, and it's going to take two people to get the victim to medical assistance. But the only two people around are you and Hitler. Do you cooperate with Hitler to save a life?

I'm not very good with analogies. Or with ethics, it seems.

An interesting dilemma to be sure. If the cost outweighs the benefit and there is no other way to accomplish the same task, I would imagine most people would support the decision to cooperate with the loathsome individual. However, the key would be what you did with that person after the task was accomplished.
