x_maker: (WTF?)

If anyone else can make sense of it this early in the morning...

What in the hell is Julio wearing on his head? And where did they get a parrot?

Oh, don't go thinking that being introduced to those two's an honor.

Pete and Remy ain't so much pirates as... men of formerly questionable moral integrity.

Though the idea of Pete Wisdom in an eyepatch is funny enough to keep me laughing for the rest of the day.

[identity profile] x-molten.livejournal.com 2006-09-19 04:20 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, that would make them reformed pirates.

Anyone in an eye patch is funny.

And there goes my tea, all over my screen...

YAAR! If ye spill yer grog, you have ta walk th' plank!
xp_daytripper: (silly)

[personal profile] xp_daytripper 2006-09-19 07:14 pm (UTC)(link)
I don't have a plank. I have a desk. Can I walk the desk? I'm sure Doug will "Yaaar!" a lot behind me and poke me with a ruler, if that helps.

And now I have this urge to sing the "Pirates of the Accountant-Sea" song from Monty Python...

[identity profile] x-molten.livejournal.com 2006-09-19 07:51 pm (UTC)(link)
You should! And I will sing with you!
xp_daytripper: (amused)

Tricky considering I'm in New York in the office and you're at school. ;) How about we give them a chorus on Saturday's bus run, if you're coming into New York this week?

[identity profile] x-molten.livejournal.com 2006-09-19 07:59 pm (UTC)(link)
It's on my calendar for the rest of the year. "Saturday in New York. Never skip. Good for sanity."
xp_daytripper: (cheerful)

You've so made my week. *grins* I love the smell of validation in the afternoon...

[identity profile] x-forge.livejournal.com 2006-09-19 08:07 pm (UTC)(link)
So long as validation doesn't smell like any of those weird things you used to mix up as "alternative herbal medicines".
xp_daytripper: (mischievous)

[personal profile] xp_daytripper 2006-09-19 08:14 pm (UTC)(link)
If you thought they smelled bad, you should have tasted them... *snorts* The woman who taught me, mad old baggage by the name of Homily, she used to say if it didn't reek, it wasn't doing you any good.

These days there's definitely less stink in my life. Be nice if I could work something other than George the Happy Glow-Ball. Even if he is a hit at Silver. Which reminds me, you owe me a rain check for clubbing.

[identity profile] x-blink.livejournal.com 2006-09-19 09:36 pm (UTC)(link)
IIRC Homily is a pirate wench named WISDOM. so she's almost a pirate!

does she do ballet too?
xp_daytripper: (confused)

[personal profile] xp_daytripper 2006-09-19 10:30 pm (UTC)(link)
*blinks* You lost me there, Pixie. The Homily I know is a mad old Earth Mother type living somewhere in the Cotswolds these days. And definitely isn't a Wisdom.

And no ballet. She's more into that naked dancing to celebrate Spring and the rest of it.

[identity profile] x-blink.livejournal.com 2006-09-19 10:34 pm (UTC)(link)
I thought she was Pete's sister?
xp_daytripper: (headtilt)

[personal profile] xp_daytripper 2006-09-19 10:36 pm (UTC)(link)
That'd be ROMANY. Definitely not the same person.

And I don't think Rom does ballet either. ;)

[identity profile] x-blink.livejournal.com 2006-09-19 10:41 pm (UTC)(link)
Homily, Romany, potato potahto. ;) see my blonde roots?

Pete doing ballet in his rumpled suit, cigarette hanging out his mouth has just broken my brain all week. ALL WEEK! aaarrr!

[identity profile] x-molten.livejournal.com 2006-09-19 08:49 pm (UTC)(link)
Is that like the smell of coffee in the morning?
xp_daytripper: (tea cures all)

[personal profile] xp_daytripper 2006-09-19 10:32 pm (UTC)(link)
As long as I don't drink the coffee, yeah, it is. I'm English, we have tea running through our veins...

[identity profile] x-molten.livejournal.com 2006-09-20 12:20 am (UTC)(link)
I make some very good biscuits if your tea is lonely.
xp_daytripper: (hungry)

[personal profile] xp_daytripper 2006-09-20 12:30 am (UTC)(link)
I never turn down biscuits. :) Especially home made. Which reminds me, had a thought for Russian practice - I'll email you.

[identity profile] x-molten.livejournal.com 2006-09-20 12:31 am (UTC)(link)
I will deliver biscuits this coming Saturday then. They can keep your tea company in your stomach.
xp_daytripper: (bag of tricks)

[personal profile] xp_daytripper 2006-09-20 12:37 am (UTC)(link)
*grins* You're my favourite bus-tripper, you realise...

[identity profile] x-molten.livejournal.com 2006-09-20 01:28 am (UTC)(link)
I will cherish that title forever.
