Stop the presses!

Or rather, start them would be more appropriate.

If anyone sees a fax come in for me today, page me immediately, I'll drop whatever I'm doing. This is an excellent day.

Do not laugh at the Dance of Joy. For I am overjoyed. Okay, there may be laughing.

Where is that fax?

UPDATE: Fax received, signed, and returned. Printing starts tomorrow!

. . . Huh.

That's going to piss off a lot of people, I bet. You sure it's worth the risk?

I thought about it, and I really do. I've had the Professor go over everything with me before I even approached a publisher; fitting, since he was one of the major sources.

I think it'll piss off a lot of people, but I hope for at least some people it helps them get a glimpse into what's made him who he is, and show that he's NOT indicative of the general mutant population. I'd never go so far as to say the things he's been through justify his point of view or his actions. But understanding them can help explain them.

It doesn't change who he is or the things he's done. And believe me, if when he gets brought down and hauled in front of a trial for everything, no amount of understanding is going to keep me from being glad when he's locked away properly this time.

Well, whatever the outcome. At least it won't be boring.
