To the Laundry Terrorist

Not that it matters for my underwear, but now all my white shirts are varying shades of lavender and pink. PINK! I will find you, and I will END you, O depositor of the one purple sock in my laundry! There will be beatings. Of a sort.

Learned that it's a lot less traumatic apparently when the victim donor isn't struggling.

That, and when it hasn't gotten to the point where I'm full-on psychotic before anyone realizes I missed a meal. And that's fine with me. The less often I wake up with a concussion, the better.

THAT would be why the docs were talking about banking donor material and trying to find a synthetic substitute. Biochemistry's so not my area of expertise, though.

Just at a guess here, I'm thinking a lack of hunger-induced psychosis probably makes most things less traumatic. (We'd actually already picked up on your calming down if there's not any struggling, but 'tis also useful to know that when you're conscious you can let go on purpose.)
