To the Laundry Terrorist

Not that it matters for my underwear, but now all my white shirts are varying shades of lavender and pink. PINK! I will find you, and I will END you, O depositor of the one purple sock in my laundry! There will be beatings. Of a sort.

Catseye thinks those are all very nice colors!

No worries, mate. Everyone knows it takes a real man to wear pink. --though I can understand where you'd be a bit worried.

Hey, thanks, man. I--

Just pointing out I'm not the one who suggested the spontaneous feeding experiment the other day. There's not many would volunteer to be chewed on by the new guy out of the blue. Can give a bloke weird ideas.

MouthyBiteyBoy said yes to the whole thing. Catseye would like to point out that there is a lot of "not helping the case" in that!

Well, the experiment worked and had better-than-expected side effects. Learned that it's a lot less traumatic apparently when the victim donor isn't struggling. I think I felt woozy for like, fifteen minutes, but that was it.

Well, now I'm grounded, got chewed on by TWO of my classmates, and the bruise on my forearm is just starting to fade. Fair trade for getting my powers back and helping learn a little more about Marius's.

But as I had to swear to Doctor MacTaggart and the Professor, I will not volunteer myself as a human guinea pig without checking with the doctors first. Ah, meddlesome bureaucracy.

Speaking of meddling, Forge, you have homework waiting for you in my office.

That, and when it hasn't gotten to the point where I'm full-on psychotic before anyone realizes I missed a meal. And that's fine with me. The less often I wake up with a concussion, the better.

THAT would be why the docs were talking about banking donor material and trying to find a synthetic substitute. Biochemistry's so not my area of expertise, though.

Just at a guess here, I'm thinking a lack of hunger-induced psychosis probably makes most things less traumatic. (We'd actually already picked up on your calming down if there's not any struggling, but 'tis also useful to know that when you're conscious you can let go on purpose.)

Sigh. Why does no one believe it was in the name of Science? Science!

Because BrainyButtBoy has used that excuse way too often.

"From my heart and from my hand
Why don't people understand my intentions..."

Okay, maybe song lyrics here and there. ;-)
