Ha ha.

Despite being tossed in the lake TWELVE times in the past twenty-four hours (including once being carried bodily out of my bed WITH MY BEDSHEET at four o'clock in the MORNING thank you Kyle and Catseye I will have my revenge) - I feel the need to announce that my mental faculties are not indeed impaired as may have been rumored.

I am still the resident genius supreme, regardless of any claims to the contrary. Just a little soggy at the moment. But feeling fine.

Sure thing. Tomorrow morning, out back by the workshed.

Wait, do you even OWN an actual swimsuit?

[identity profile] x-catseye.livejournal.com 2005-08-06 07:57 pm (UTC)(link)
...Catseye was hoping BrainyButtBoy would not ask that. Boo.

Catseye can borrow one from someone? Or could ShinyBitsBoy make a new collar for that? :D

[identity profile] x-forge.livejournal.com 2005-08-06 08:01 pm (UTC)(link)
I suppose I could do that - it'd just mean a little bit of modifications to the current design, something for the tail, fixing the mimetic instability to work if you change IN the water, since the regular collar seems to have a problem with that. Yeah, I can do that.

[identity profile] x-catseye.livejournal.com 2005-08-06 08:02 pm (UTC)(link)
Catseye thinks the day ShinyBitsBoy cannot fix one of her collars, his head may go boom. BOOM!

Hee! Boomyboomboom!

...

Catseye is also starting to get a collection of collars. Hrm. OH! Is ShinyBitsBoy eating more than usual lately?

[identity profile] x-forge.livejournal.com 2005-08-06 08:06 pm (UTC)(link)
...

are you saying I'm fat?

[identity profile] x-catseye.livejournal.com 2005-08-06 08:12 pm (UTC)(link)
No. Catseye is just saying ShinyBitsBoy weighs more than before.

Hrm. Maybe all that pouncing means ShinyBitsBoy is finally starting to get into shape! :D

That and the prescribed ninety minutes of physical therapy I still have to do each day. Dr. McCoy and Mr. Kylun are helping out a lot there.

[identity profile] x-catseye.livejournal.com 2005-08-06 08:19 pm (UTC)(link)
Catseye will keep helping too! More pouncing! And fun! :D

Er. Actually...

[identity profile] x-rahne.livejournal.com 2005-08-06 08:46 pm (UTC)(link)
I'd not want to bother you, or take advantage, but... would you be willing to make one for me as well, if it'd work the same? (Not the swimsuit one, the other.) It would be very useful to be able to change forms in public without... er.

I'd offer to cook for you, but I think Dani's got that taken care of. Something else?

Well, given how Catseye's works, and I *assume* your shifts work the same way, it wouldn't be a problem.

Would it complicate things that I stop in the middle sometimes? Transitional form, mostly human-shaped but with fur? I don't know what point triggers the clothing shift....

Not at all. So long as you keep the same number of limbs. The fabric recognizes the chemicals that Catseye exudes in sweat when she shifts, so assuming your physiology's similar, I'll just need a sample and I can get the chemical balance down in about ten minutes.
